ALwayS for ALS
Kerri & Pam founded their non-profit to offer local support to families coping with ALS. Every 90 minutes someone is diagnosed with ALS and every 90 minutes a life is taken by ALS. There has yet to be a cure for ALS aka Lou Gehrig Disease. Lou Gehrig was diagnosed in 1939. The life span of an ALS patient is on average 3-5 years.
ALwayS for ALS includes a program called Pass It On, where patients and families are connected to other patients and families to pass on equipment and resources in the fight against this disease.
